From the Founder
Investor · Founder · Strategic Visionary
Matvey Y. is an investor, entrepreneur, and organizational builder with one guiding conviction: the most underutilized resource in the global economy is the untapped potential of women. Years of work across venture, social enterprise, and community building have only deepened that belief.
He founded Feminist Club with a clear mandate — to build an organization combining the rigor of a serious professional institution with the moral clarity of a rights movement. "Women deserve better than a charity cause or a corporate checkbox. They deserve a platform that treats their advancement as the strategic priority it actually is."
Feminist Club is a community of women leaders, advocates, founders, and allies — growing through events, mentorship, and shared purpose. We're building it openly. If our mission resonates, we'd love to have you as a founding member.
Matvey Y. Founder — Feminist ClubOur Manifesto
We believe that equality is not aspirational — it is overdue. That women's leadership is not a future possibility — it is a present necessity. That advocacy without infrastructure is theatre, and infrastructure without conviction is hollow. We are building the institution that closes that gap. One leader, one law, one industry at a time.
Our values
These aren't aspirational. They're constraints that bind our day-to-day choices about programs, partnerships, content, and people.
We build serious programs with measurable outcomes, not slogans. If we can't measure it, we don't claim it. Every program operates with defined inputs, outputs, and outcomes — reported openly to our community and partners.
We meet women where they are. Every tier of membership is designed to be genuinely useful, not gatekept. Pedigree is not a prerequisite for participation. Demonstrated commitment is.
Beautiful campaigns are easy. Real movement work is hard. We choose the second — even when the first would generate more attention. We measure ourselves by member outcomes, not press hits.
No single organization closes the gap. We partner widely — with companies whose values align, with peer organizations across the women's movement, with policy advocates, with grassroots groups. Independence preserved; coordination prioritized.
We share our wins, our losses, and our finances openly. The movement deserves an institution it can trust. When we get something wrong, we'll say so first.
Building openly — team
Feminist Club is in active build phase. We're looking for founding team members across programs, partnerships, content, and community. If you want a leadership role in building something meaningful, here's how to engage.
01
We're looking for founding team members across programs, partnerships, content, and community. Initial roles will be part-time or contract, transitioning to full-time as revenue allows. Equity-equivalent participation for founding hires.
02
Senior leaders, founders, and policy experts — we're building a network of advisors and mentors. Lend your experience to women earlier on their path. Quarterly or as-needed time commitment.
03
Bring Feminist Club to your city. We support local organizers who want to host gatherings, mentorship circles, and policy convenings on the ground. Currently exploring LA, DC, Chicago, London partnerships.
Structural commitments
Brand integrity is the only durable moat we have. These are commitments to our community, our members, our partners — binding constraints, not marketing copy.
This includes companies funding anti-reproductive-rights legislation, companies with unresolved sexual-harassment proceedings, and companies with sub-15% women on leadership and no public remediation plan. We vet every sponsor publicly.
Every sponsored block is clearly labeled. No "what we're loving" pieces that are paid promotion. No "natural" brand mentions in articles we got paid for. Full transparency with our community on every commercial relationship.
No inflated member counts. No fabricated testimonials. Every metric we publish is real and sourceable. Where we're early, we say we're early. Where we don't yet have data, we say so.
All materials referencing a partner brand require their written approval before publication. We move fast (5-business-day default) but we never publish a partner's name in a context they haven't seen.
