From the Founder

Matvey Y.

Investor · Founder · Strategic Visionary

Matvey Y. is an investor, entrepreneur, and organizational builder with a career defined by one guiding conviction: the most underutilized resource in the global economy is the untapped potential of women. Over two decades of work across venture capital, social enterprise, and international development have only deepened that belief.

He founded Feminist Club in 2019 with a clear mandate: to build an organization combining the rigor of a serious professional institution with the moral clarity of a rights movement. "Women deserve better than a charity cause or a corporate checkbox. They deserve a platform that treats their advancement as the strategic priority it actually is."

Under his leadership, Feminist Club has grown into a global organization active in 34 countries, with over 12,400 members and more than 180 programs. He is a published contributor to Harvard Business Review, Forbes, and the Stanford Social Innovation Review.

Everything we do drives real-world progress

From policy to professional development, our work spans every domain where gender inequality takes root.

Advocacy & Policy Reform

We engage legislators and institutions to champion laws protecting women's rights, close the pay gap, and ensure equal representation in government and corporate governance.

02📈

Leadership Development

Through executive coaching, leadership academies, and cohort programs, we equip women with the skills, confidence, and networks to lead at the highest levels.

03💼

Career & Business Growth

Career acceleration resources, entrepreneurship support, funding connections, and business programming to help women build sustainable careers and companies.

04🎓

Education & Awareness

We develop educational resources, research publications, and public awareness campaigns that inform, inspire, and mobilize communities around gender equality.

What our community says about us

★★★★★

Feminist Club didn't just accelerate my career — it changed how I see myself as a leader. The mentorship program connected me with someone who believed in me before I believed in myself. Within a year I'd been promoted to VP.

The Future Founders Network gave me more than resources — it gave me a community who understood the challenges of building a company as a woman. We closed our seed round 3 months after joining.

I came feeling isolated in my work. What I found was a global network and the platform to actually make systemic change happen. The Rights Forum changed how our state approaches equal pay legislation.
